The DACH region, consisting of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, is one of the fastest growing economies in Europe and therefore a strategic region for HCLTech.

Our regional headquarters are in Eschborn, Germany, with additional offices and delivery centers in Berlin, Gifhorn, Leipzig, Munich, Osnabrück, Walldorf and Actian Germany GmbH.

Our Innovation Lab is also located in Eschborn.

As a provider for Austrian and Swiss companies, we have offices in Vienna as well as in Basel, Geneva, Versoix, Zug and Zurich in Switzerland.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect - End User Computing who is Fluent in English and German.

You must have

  • 8+ years proven experience in delivering and supporting enterpriseclass services.
  • High level understanding of all EUC technology areas, with the ability to conceive an endtoend IT strategy for an organization.
  • Experience designing and delivering Cloud or hybridbased solutions.
  • Skills in creating technical roadmaps for technologies to support enduser computing.
  • Consulting experience in a mix of technologies, including Virtualization, Device Management, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Intune, Windows 365 or other End User Computing disciplines (not necessarily all)
  • Indepth understanding on how these technologies relate and how to architect an overall solution rather than several individual ones.
  • Customer focused, confident and articulate with lots of experience in stakeholder meetings and presentations.
  • Happy to lead/steer customer meetings and presentations at CIO/CTO level and be the authority in the room.
  • Able to work closely with sales and engineering teams around the globe.
  • Good presentation and documentation skills
  • Experience in managing technical and financial targets.
  • Understanding of technology trends & market innovations & adapting these to the required client roadmaps

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ140)
  • Azure AI Fundamentals (AI900)
  • VMware Certified Design Expert
  • End-User Computing 2023 (VCDX-EUC 2023)

Role Engagement:

With Customer Directly:
Work with clients to develop their vision for end-user computing. Design the next N years of desktop computing evolution, adopt key programs such as evergreen/technology refresh. Engage on futureproof design to lower cost and increase productivity. Inform on new technologies and build them into the long-term strategies.

Pre-Sales Engagement & Collaboration:
Actively participate and collaborate with pre-sales teams, including client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations. Understand client requirements and propose solutions that align with their business objectives and our financial goals.

Financial goals and Strategy:
Work closely with the account management team to set and achieve sales targets. Develop strategies to increase market share and revenue through digital workplace solutions.


Depending on location, the role can be mobile and may require frequent travel to customer locations (restrictions permitting), although may also involve a degree of home working.

Communication with other teams, both offshore and onshore is vital, as is a grasp of project management principles.
