Your responsibilities and tasks:

We are looking for a Senior Director Sustainability (f/m/d) within the HRT (Heating and Refrigeration Technologies) division. In this role you will act as the main driver of implementing GEA's Sustainability Strategy within the HRT division.


Responsibilities:


  • Translate GEA's sustainability strategy into divisional and business unit concepts and initiatives contributing to GEA's groupwide sustainability target achievements
  • Steer and monitor sustainability objective achievement of divisional concepts and initiatives
  • Facilitate alignment and collaboration across GEA, the division, business unit, regions and countries
  • Ensure reporting requirements of the corporate Sustainability central organization are met in close alignment with relevant stakeholders

Your profile and qualifications:


  • University degree in Business administration or mechanical engineering or the equivalent by experience
  • Additional qualification in sustainability management / engineering is of advantage
  • Relevant professional experience (58 years)
  • Fluently spoken and written in German and English
  • Strong intrinsic motivation to lead divisional transformation of sustainability
  • Analytical thinking skills, sound problemsolving skills, processoriented thinking, assertive and handson
  • Willingness to develop professionally as part of an interdisciplinary team and to jointly drive change and transformation
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial, social and intercultural skills, ability to work in project and matrix settings
