At Evotec's headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the
_Neuroinflammation & Data Science_ group within the
_Translational Neurosciences_ department is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated

Research Associate (f/m/d) Neuroinflammation
Neuroinflammation
Fulltime and temporary for 2 years
Your key responsibilities:
Support development of scientific strategies in identifying novel therapeutic target for neurodegenerative diseases
Establish biochemical and/or immunoassays using iPSCderived glial cells and/or neurons, primary cells or cell lines for target evaluation and validation
Keep up to date on knowledge of scientific advances and competitive activity from literature, scientific meetings, and external contacts
Design and execute wet lab experiments, analyze and interpret data, present and discuss results in group and project meetings
Publish high quality research outputs in peerreviewed journals
Supervise and/or mentor research assistants
Your ideal qualifications:
PhD in neuroinflammation/neurodegeneration/glial biology or closely related field
Indepth experience with in vitro techniques such as cell culture, molecular biology, image or immunoassay technologies (e.g. Immunocytochemistry, ELISA, MSD, HTRF, Western blotting)
Experience with complex and diseaserelevant cellular models (e.g. primary, iPSbased, 3D, organoid and coculture models)
Familiarity with "Omics" technologies and interpretation of "Omics" data is a plus
Dynamic personality with high levels of drive, enthusiasm, and commitment and ability to cope with pressure
Excellent team spirit and capability of working with a wide degree of autonomy and independence
Ability to work in a crossfunctional team
Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of German is a plus
