Beschreibung
A phenomenal opportunity to join our growing regional EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) medical team.

You will be one of a collaborative global team of medical doctors, who provide input into individual health risk assessments, help adjudicate on complex contested health claims, general risk management and product development.

About the Role

You will contribute to work on underwriting strategy, get involved with research work on evidence-based ratings and be part of life and health R&D projects and topics that help us demonstrate thought leadership on advancements in medicine.

There will initially be a supportive and comprehensive training period introducing you to life insurance and insurance medicine.

As your knowledge develops you will have increasing autonomy and will have opportunities to give industry presentations and do client training in Europe and further afield.

Our underwriting manual is the best in the industry and the medical underwriting guidelines drive much of this. You will help us keep the number 1 spot.

About the Team
We are a small team of doctors, with mixed specialisms, who work across EMEA. We meet regularly online and with our other colleagues in Asia and the US.

We're a small, very collaborative group who are privileged to research across the entirety of medical topics to support insurance developments; from products that will fit customers/patients best, to ensuring fairness in interpreting medical wordings at claim stage, to highlighting trends in mortality or morbidity at population or insured cohort level.

We provide technical medical support to a diverse set of different stakeholders across the business.

About You

  • You can think out the box, challenge the status quo and help us be better.
  • You can be part of one of the largest Medical Officer teams in reassurance, with plenty of mental challenge and cooperation with other doctors across the world.
