Job description:


GIZ International Services is looking for a Team Leader for the EIB funded project
"Programme Management Support for the EU4U Advisory Programme
" in
Moldova and Ukraine.


The overall objective of this assignment is to contribute to the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as to the economic resilience of both Ukraine and Moldova and to their path to EU accession.


Your tasks:


The Team Leader (M/F/d) will assume overall responsibility for management of the team of key and non-key experts and will be responsible for day-to-day management of the programme and coordination of the activities between the key stakeholders.

The position is expected to be full time for a period of 4 years and located either in Luxembourg and/or in Kyiv, dependent on the location of the Deputy Team Leader.


Your profile:

Qualifications and skills

  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian language will be considered an asset
  • Additional professional qualifications or membership of relevant professional institutions related to one or more of relevant sectors is an asset
General professional experience

  • 15 years of general professional experience
  • 7 years of experience as Project/Programme Manager, Team Leader, or equivalent position for technical assistance projects
Specific professional experience

  • Experience on at least 3 technical assistance projects or programmes in relation to the preparation and/or monitoring of infrastructure investments in accordance with International Financial Institutions standards
  • Experience in the delivery of at least one similar programme of technical assistance, involving multiple projects and multiple beneficiaries, either within one country or within a region
  • Experience in the Eastern Neighbourhood is an asset, more so in Ukraine and/or Moldova
