What you will enjoy doing

  • You will be responsible for US GAAP and German GAAP tax reporting of income tax matters of the German Linde group companies
  • You will be preparing monthly tax reporting for US GAAP group reporting as well as Year End tax reporting for statutory accounts
  • You will be providing tax advisory to German businesses (support in business projects, tax and accounting questions, domestic restructurings)
  • Further you will be supporting the Compliance Team on income tax audits and the tax planning team on tax accounting impacts of projects
  • You will be preparing quarterly tax cash forecasts

What makes you great

  • You have a University degree in Taxes, Finance, Accounting or Economics. Qualification as German tax advisor (Steuerberater)
  • You possess long term relevant, professional working experience in the tax department of a public accounting firm or in a tax department of a multinational company and excellent knowledge and experience in the field of direct tax
  • You bring excellent knowledge of US GAAP Tax Accounting as well as indepth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including HGB (German GAAP)
  • You are able to think big picture and understand the impact of tax on business driven transactions
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment independently
  • You have strong communication skills and ability to present complex topics to management
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
