We are currently looking for our future
Product Portfolio Senior Director (M/F/d) Enclosure based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.


Mission


To ensure the high customer requirements and the further successful expansion, we are looking for a Product Portfolio Senior Director who will be accountable to generate profitable and sustainable growth by leveraging his/her E2E accountability from need/idea to market launch through the product lifecycle to end-of-life.


Responsibilities

  • Takeover of the global product portfolio for the product family Final and Main Distribution Systems with 25 employees and triple digit sales, representing the key market for Hager Groups market leadership in Europe and the world
  • Representing the Global Product Family Enclosures in the Hager Group governance decision boards
  • Accountable for the development of a longterm holistic product portfolio strategy for the expansion of the global business in line with group strategy and pivotal market area needs.
  • Lead and motivate the cross functional product team with the goal of implementing a highperforming organization and performanceoriented culture
  • Actively manage the change process
  • Accountable for the success and profitability in implementing common financial and nonfinancial goals
  • Mastery of "product marketing" as a customercentric approach (e.g. Creation of a value proposition incl. USP for customer segments along the customer journey)
  • Accountable for product portfolio road mapping that includes early Identification of innovations with proactive frontloading drives.
  • Define and deliver the specific product portfolio in a time
  • Accountable for overlooking the Management and Leadership of our product lifecycle (incl. necessary actions and measuring the resulting impact) and arbitration of all requests in support of the existing product range
  • Support active and direct influence on the local sales force
  • Intensive communication and cooperation with all other adjacent functional areas as well as with the Executive Board.

Technical requirements, necessary skills and knowledge

  • Technical degree (electrical engineering, computer science, industrial engineering), ideally with a focus on product management or comparable qualification
  • Entrepreneurial, international manager with natural authority and proven track record in developing business organizations and product portfolios
  • Convincing leader and innovator with creative drive, who has a positive attitude towards new ideas and challenges and who is and drives them forward with passion
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic competencies, coupled with high operational implementation strength
  • Strong communication, argumentation and persuasion skills
  • Assertive and equally integrative personality with the ability to vary and adapt one's own behavior to circumstances and cultural requirements
  • Very good organizational skills and a sure eye for what is feasible
  • High decisionmaking competence
  • Ability to compensate for setbacks and contradictions in a positive and forwardlooking manner and to implement changes
  • Affinity for entrepreneurial and business management topics
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility
  • You speak German and have a very good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of French would be an advantage
