A job that inspires

Monitor, challenge and report relevant performance and risk KPIs as well as deltas to plan for the groupwide Energy Markets function and E.ON Energy Markets GmbH
Building up a new stateoftheart reporting infrastructure for the Energy Markets (EM) portfolios and being automation enabler for visualization
Introduction of new transparency impulses and instruments for the steering of Energy Markets relevant commodity risks (esp. weather/demand variation, imbalance, shape)
Ensure and enhance transparency of value drivers (esp. risk types) and operational KPIs
Develop ambitious budget/target proposals for EM's midterm planning
Provide consistent groupwide transparency of EM performance via rollout of Performance Controlling Concept (PCC) in all E.ON regions
Business partnering and best practices sharing with E.ON regions
Prepare Energy Markets performance dialogues with E.ON SE board
Provide transparency on Energy Markets value add, cost structures and intercompany charges
Prepare and deliver adhoc analysis, reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and relevant decision bodies
Interface to various central and regional stakeholders: regional Risk & Finance functions, Energy Markets (central and regional functions), Group Risk, Counterparty Risk, Group Finance, Digital Technology, board etc.

A convincing background

Numerate and analytical university degree
Experienced in energy sector, including energy procurement, sales or trading as an Analyst, Energy Economist, Commercial Controller, Risk Manager or Front Officer
First insights in building a risk and/or reporting infrastructure in a trading or sales context would be advantageous
Good commercial understanding of the performance drivers of a commodity or energy portfolio; ability to translate root causes into clear, intuitive and insightful explanations for stakeholders
Ability to investigate drivers of performance by analysing complex data sets in order to draw conclusions and make recommendations to the relevant operational teams
Demonstrated skills in effective communication, partnering, customer individual storytelling and empathy
Willingness to work in commercial and high performance markets environment
Proactiveness, Selfmotivated and flexible regarding workload and changing priorities
Languages: English, German would be advantageous
