As our new Global Export Control Officer you become part of Exyte's global Compliance Team and report directly into the Vice President Corporate Compliance.

In this role you will be responsible to enhance, manage and supervise all of our global export control, sanction and embargo processes, with a key focus to the semiconductor industry and the corresponding U.S./China regulations.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities:

You ensure compliance with national and international export control regulations, sanctions and embargos. In particular, you review, coordinate and ensure compliance with US reexport regulations in our supply processes
You are responsible for managing Exyte's global electronic sanctions list screening tool and handle embargo and sanctions case management
You manage projects to refine export control processes; in this capacity you manage both, the implementation of new processes and the enhancement of existing processes
You advise our internal clients on export control and sanction matters in an international context, in particular as to the U.S. restrictions imposed on the Chinese semiconductor market
You monitor the development of international export control and sanction regulations on an ongoing basis
You develop and conduct internal trainings and workshops with our internal clients and draft directives and policies
You support and supervise external and internal audits in the area of export control and liaise with external legal counsel

Show your expertise:

You have a degree in Law, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering (or similar)
Min. 5 years of related operational experience in the area of export control, sanctions and embargos in a multinational environment
Highly structured, systematic and organized
Flawless business communication
Advanced organizational and time management skills
Quickwitted person eager to learn, with an eye for details
You take ownership and drive initiatives independently
You bring strong communications skills and have an ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse stakeholders
You enjoy working in a multinational and multicultural environment
You have an excellent command of English and ideally German, too
