Working Student - Hardware Team - Electrical Engineering (M/F/d)

In this position you will work within the Cardiac Surgery Business Franchise and will support the HW Team on the development of Heart-Lung Machines on a wide spectrum of tasks during the design and verification phase.

You will mainly support the Team on Electrical Engineering topics such as cable manufacturing, test setup development etc.

Essential Job Functions

Create and maintain Electrical Drawings including Electrical Schematics, Cable Drawings, and others electrical documentation.
Applies technical knowledge to solve problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals or simulator documents, performs other duties as assigned.
Documents and maintains cabling and interconnect schemes and drawings.
Support management of PCB Libraries
Support engineering test execution
Support development of first prototypes, from cable assemblies to parts soldering

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical engineering, Medical Devices engineering or similar
Familiarity with ECADs as Mentor PADS, Altium
Experience with Laboratory equipment
Maker attitude
Comply with site policy and procedures
Able to work in a fastpaced environment
Good command of English language. Knowledge of German language is appreciated
Electronic systems schematic interpretation, electrical circuit design, electrical cable design, equipment troubleshooting, and repair
Operation and use of standard test and measuring instruments
Basics of FW development and debugging on target
