Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Global Procurement Team and provide procurement support to our business stakeholders in the field of Professional Services.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing tenders, contract negotiations, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Your objective will be to ensure advantageous terms and conditions, smooth cooperation, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and taking advantage of industry developments.

• Your responsibilities will include providing procurement support to our business stakeholders of Professional Services
• You will be managing tenders and contract negotiations
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms and conditions and ensure smooth cooperation will be a key part of your role
• Analyzing market trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base opportunities for cost reduction, risk minimization, and industry exploitation is an important task
• You will perform periodic analyses to evaluate overall cost savings and achievements from projects and categories
• Collecting and maintaining specific category market intelligence and supplier performance data will be part of your duties
• Improving SIXT's cost structure by analyzing, designing, and implementing purchasing initiatives will be a focus area for you
• You will serve as a professional role model and support your teammates by sharing knowledge on negotiation, project planning, and purchasing tools

Qualifications:


COME AS YOU ARE:

• Ideally, you have at least 5+ years of procurement experience.
• You have proven experience in running endtoend procurement projects, including contract negotiations and project management
• Your knowledge spans across Professional Services and category management.
• You possess strong communication and negotiation skills
• You have the ability to influence others and achieve results without direct supervision
• Your analytical, critical thinking, and network building skills are excellent.
• You have proven experience in supplier relationship management (SRM)
• Fluent English is a must, and knowledge of German and other languages is advantageous
• Your organizational skills, both written and verbal communication skills, and goaloriented mindset are strong
• Experience in an industry with a high pace of innovation, growth, and change will be an advantage
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office
