As a 100% subsidiary of E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH, Charge-ON GmbH is the backbone of the German e-mobility business and represents the brand E.ON Drive.

E.ON Drive takes renewable energy to the road. We support individuals and companies throughout Germany, to travel in a clean, quiet and affordable way by using electromobility. Our product portfolio includes smart solutions for charging on the road, at work and at home.

We support our customers in every step they take, from personal advice, the installation of charging stations, modern billing systems to the supply of green electricity.


Your Tasks

  • Lead the operations team for our eMobility markets in Germany and Austria consisting of two subteams with a total of~ 15 FTEs
  • Take disciplinary and functional responsibility for the team
  • Ensure stable operations of charging infrastructure for our B2C, B2B and Fleet customers in Germany and Austria
  • Support the growth of our global eMobility business by optimizing processes, increasing efficiency and developing the team
  • Ensure bestinclass customer experience when it comes to our operations by managing KPIs closely and taking relevant measures
  • Collaborate with multiple internal (e.g. product, deployment, sales) and external stakeholders (e.g. hardware/software suppliers, field service) to drive results
  • Take an active part in the global leadership team for Operations & Services to allow for best practice adaptation among our different markets
  • Support further development of the business model and drive cost saving measures

Your profile

  • University degree in Engineering, Business or similar
  • Experience of leading and developing people, and of managing successful teams
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of eMobility, especially in operating eMobility infrastructure and providing services within first / second line support
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convince others, manage (senior) stakeholders and drive solutions forward effectively
  • Strong service mindset with a focus on customer experience
  • Ability to deal with complexity and enthusiasm to solve problems independently with an analytical mindset
  • Knowledge in optimizing processes and driving operational excellence with focus on KPI management
  • Strategic thinker with commercial mindset, and experience of interrogating business cases
  • Fluency in German and English
