Your tasks

The Head of Global (M/F/diverse) SPS (structure problem solving) defines and deploys a comprehensive strategy for SPS at Business Area UX (user experience) with the aim to:

  • Create the framework, methods and tools to organize all level of training and certification paths
  • Define, develop and maintain a network(s) of certified SPS master trainers and SPS trainers
  • Leverage from UX CBS organization in order to cover all UX locations and develop SPS practitioners globally

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

  • Definition, development and ensurement of the maintenance of a comprehensive SPS training offer (e.g., presentations, material, templates)
  • Organization and providing of internal 6Sigma/DFSS-GB and 6 Sigma/DFSS-BB trainings as well as awareness training for management
  • Increasing and maintaining SPS competences in all domains (operation, R&D and admin)
  • Coaching and mentoring teams and individuals in the use of SPS methods & tools to solve issues or improve the operational performance of the organization
  • Leading and coaching problem solving crossfunctional teams to leverage the SPS processes in failure mode avoidance and robust design methods
  • Development of SPS strategy for BA UX organization (operation, R&D and admin)
  • Establishment of SPS key performance metric to track effectiveness & efficiency
  • Establishing and maintainance of SPS networks and structures (across BA) to ensure communication and alignment within operation, R&D and admin

Profile:


  • Advanced university degree in engineering, natural science or comparable qualification
  • 6 Sigma and/or DFSS Master Black Belt certification is mandatory
  • Several years of professional working experience in various positions, e.g. quality, production or research development within the automotive industry
  • Experience with management of global projects
  • Expert level in structured problem solving processes, methods & tools
  • Expert level in advanced structured problem solving techniques regarding systemic root cause analysis (esp. chronological chart, problem break down)
  • Advanced knowledge in lessons learned
  • Experience in the implementation of international programs/processes
  • Excellent oral and written language skills in English, with the ability to interface at all levels in the organization
  • German language skills are an advantage
