ROLE:
People Partner - German & English Speaking


LOCATION:
Germany or London with regularly travel to Netherlands.


A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM:
We are seeking an ambitious, hard-working individual to join our People Team to take it to the next level. You will continually challenge the status quo to ensure that we are the best People team in the business


In addition to ensuring compliance of all the usual HR protocols, you will also provide a comprehensive, proactive, and efficient HR service by providing information, guidance and coaching to employees and managers across all employment-related matters, in support of the HR and business strategy, working across all brands within the Inside Ideas Group.

Working alongside the People Partners, you will support the roll out of key People initiatives to help deliver the OLIVER HR People strategy.


This role will be a hybrid role, with regular travel to the German or Netherlands client offices, supporting our onsite teams, varied, fast paced, and requires someone who can think on their feet, be proactive, be agile and hungry to learn and succeed.

Some travel to other countries may be required.


WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING:

The team's activities are varied, and you will need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get involved in everything from a HR generalist activities and work in partnership with our Centre's of Excellence (Talent, People Operations, Reward and Benefits and Learning and Development).

The main day to day tasks includes, but are not limited to:


  • Be the dedicated regional point of contact for employees and managers across the Inside Ideas Group (IIG) & Oliver within Germany and Netherlands, and be responsible for other countries like: Norway, Poland, Panama, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, etc. (this list can change)
  • Support and advise your stakeholders in relation to people issues, ensuring they understand the
impact of these on both the individual and the business.

  • Monitor our monthly Peakon employee feedback and work closely with your stakeholders to drive engagement, development, and support.
  • Build and maintain an excellent knowledge of employees, objectives, and business processes.
  • Coaching and supporting managers on staffing issues in the areas of performance management, sickness, absence, grievances, probationary reviews, TUPE process and capability of escalating to the Head of EMEA as appropriate.
  • Plan and execute all change management elements of restructuring, redundancy, and cost saving initiatives.
  • Support the biannual salary review process.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of German and Netherlands employment law, and other EMEA jurisdictions, to ensure advice given is current and accurate, working in partnership with our local experts/legal teams as required.
  • Actively identify gaps, propose, and implement changes to process and procedure to ensure we continually deliver a great employee experience.
  • Support the HR team with any adhoc projects or assignments for other countries as well.
  • Ensuring 100% compliance around core HR processes e.g. right to work checks.
  • Ensuring all staff changes are captured accurately and on time and updated within the HRIS system and payroll process e.g. new joiners/leavers, maternity leave, promotions etc. and ensuring data is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Interpret metrics and data and draw insights to support line management in making robust people and business decisions.
  • Liaising with Payroll for all new starters, variances, and leavers. 100% accuracy is key.
  • Leads research and analysis used to develop corporate sustainability strategies to ensure that business practices and services are environmentally friendly and compliant with local government rules and regulations.
  • Promotes and explains the IIG's sustainability philosophy to internal and external audiences.
