Key Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our interdisciplinary teams, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the development of new generations of combustion systems for aero engines
  • Drive the enhancement of postprocessing tools to assess test data
  • Contribute to the implementation of novel methods to predict the stability of combustion systems
  • Participate actively in organizational efforts within assigned projects and tasks, making a tangible impact

Qualifications/Requirements:


To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Studies of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Experience with numerical procedures like CFD with a solid knowledge in the field of combustion and a basic knowledge in the field of acoustics
  • Proficiency in using engineering tools like CAD and MATLAB/Simulink as well as some programming experience (preferably Python)
  • A strong academic track record, demonstrating your commitment to excellence
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing
  • A proactive attitude that fuels your motivation to overcome challenges and deliver results
  • Openness and creativity, inspiring innovative thinking and problemsolving
  • A teamoriented approach, thriving in a complex multisite network structure
  • Fluency in English, ensuring seamless communication within our international team

Desired Characteristics:

In addition to the above, the following qualities would be highly advantageous:

  • Initiative to deepen your technical expertise in engine simulation and modeling methods, keeping abreast of the latest advancements
  • Knowledge of aero engine technology, allowing you to contribute insights and perspectives within the industry
  • Passion for engaging with the aeronautical industry, actively seeking opportunities for growth and collaboration
