Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we support the development of helicopters from the initial idea through to the airworthy product.

Using our expertise in cybersecurity, safety and sustainability is how we achieve this. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Coordinate and perform tasks related to the design of helicopter functionalities with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. calculation department, aerodynamics, the materials and process department, production, etc.)
Followup on the engineering change process (ECP) and take part as a member in the engineering change board
Support the writing and updating of technical notes, technical descriptions, specifications and certification documents
Manage suppliers for the product development (from kick off to certification): managing deliverables, weekly meetings, managing equipments, specifications, maturity process
Provide support to the industrial stakeholders in case of supplier deviations & support to resolve part nonconformities

Desired skills and qualifications

You have 25 years of experience in a design office & some knowledge of design principles
You have gathered some experience in working with composite and metallic materials: design, manufacturing processes, etc.
You are used to working with DMU and 3D product structure tools (such as Catia V5, VPM) and other configuration management tools

- you are proactive, well structured and team oriented
- your English is fluent, French would be a benefit

You are holding an engineering degree (ideally with a link to aeronautics)

This position might require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
