Your tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform tasks related to the design of helicopter functionalities with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. calculation department, aerodynamics, the materials and process department, production, etc.)
- Followup on the engineering change process (ECP) and take part as a member in the engineering change board
- Support the writing and updating of technical notes, technical descriptions, specifications and certification documents
- Manage suppliers for the product development (from kick off to certification): managing deliverables, weekly meetings, managing equipments, specifications, maturity process
- Provide support to the industrial stakeholders in case of supplier deviations & support to resolve part nonconformities
Desired skills and qualifications
- You have 25 years of experience in a design office & some knowledge of design principles
- You have gathered some experience in working with composite and metallic materials: design, manufacturing processes, etc.
- You are used to working with DMU and 3D product structure tools (such as Catia V5, VPM) and other configuration management tools
- your English is fluent, French would be a benefit
- You are holding an engineering degree (ideally with a link to aeronautics)
