Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Phd program (or similar) in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Computational Neuroscience, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and applied skills in mathematical optimization algorithms such as CSP, QUBO, (M)ILP, QP
Strong analytical and applied skills in machine learning, probability theory, or statistical mechanics
2+ years of experience with developing algorithms for neuromorphic hardware systems using software frameworks such as Lava
5+ years of experience in Python and/or C/C++ with the ability to design and write quality code
2+ years or experience in collaborative software development (design methodologies, SCRUM, version control, software testing, etc.)
2+ years of experience in designing and leading projects
Excellent communication skills, customeroriented, attention to detail and demonstrated project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with popular machine learning or other frameworks commonly used in data science
Experience with software frameworks or solvers used in mathematical optimization
Experience with architecting and implementing welldesigned software libraries
Experience with continual learning algorithms
Experience with parallel programming
Experience with performance profiling and benchmarking algorithms and hardware architectures
Good grasp of basic computer architecture principles and algorithms
Prior contributions to open source projects

Working Model:

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.

This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.

In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
