Operational Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Planner


Key Role:


Conduct analysis, provide recommendations, and support staff planning for the development and integration of Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) support plans into operational plans.

Review crisis and contingency response concepts of operations and analyze functional C4 policy drafts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and annexes to component-level contingency plans and steady-state campaign plans.

Support component-level participation in combatant command and Service C4 conferences, working groups, and staff processes to align service capabilities and activities with joint and service strategic objectives.

Develop decision-support products to inform senior-leader decisions.


Basic Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience as a crossfunctional C4 Planner
  • 3+ years of experience planning and conducting large C4 events requiring coordination with multiple organizations and departments
  • 3+ years of experience on highlevel headquarters staff, including HQMC, MARFOR, or MEF
  • 3+ years of experience with using Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint, developing PowerPoint slides, and presenting to or briefing senior leadership
  • Ability to manage planning efforts of multiple events simultaneously
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:


  • Experience integrating cyber operations into C4 plans
  • Experience leading Operational Planning Teams
  • Experience writing Operational Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Systems
  • Experience with DoD, NATO, and international organizations
  • Knowledge of Joint and USMC Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) C4 doctrine and capabilities and Marine Corps roles, missions, capabilities, and structure
  • Knowledge of the Marine Corps Planning Process and Joint Planning Process and aviation C2 architecture
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Professional Military Education, including Expeditionary Warfare School, Command and Staff College, School of Advanced Warfare, or Naval Post Graduate School

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186, annualized USD).

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
