About our client

We are working with an award-nominated private placement agent and advisory firm.

Founded over a decade ago, they have gone from strength to strength as a global operation that has raised over circa $30bn across primary fundraises, as well as advised on secondaries transactions.

They are continuing their exciting growth plans by establishing a new office in Munich.

They are looking to hire an experienced professional from a private markets background to execute on fundraising mandates, approaching investors, and aiding in the build-out of the office and team.

What the job involves

This person will have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting mandates, whilst enjoying the entrepreneurial nature of building out and establishing a new office as part of a highly regarded brand name in the market.

Day to day activities will include:

Meeting prospective clients
Continuously mapping and communicating with institutional investors
Positioning of the client's investment strategy and the preparation of marketing materials, including private placement memoranda, investor presentations and due diligence materials
Analysing financial and qualitative information in order to assist in the group's due diligence investigations prior to signing up a new mandate
Designing and coordinating capital raising activities and international road shows
Dealing with responses to investor due diligence requests
Maintaining a database of investor commentary, feedback and interest in particular funds
Preparing presentation materials and pitches for prospective clients as required

Who we are looking for

Relevant Investor Relations / fundraising experience within private markets or a placement agent
Excellent interpersonal, communications and relationship building skills with colleagues and clients at all levels
Strong written communication skills, excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
Ability to work well in a team
Strong analytical skills
Fluent in German and English
