What's the role?:

We are looking for an open-minded and curious student (M/F/d) from electrical engineering, embedded systems, or comparable fields of study.

We are looking for a tinkerer for software and hardware development tasks who wants to take on new challenges.

What does the role involve?:

You will support the development team for advanced mechatronics in the development of a rapid control prototyping platform (RCP) using custom built hardware and the Simulink Real Time environment.

Depending on your interests and previous experience, you will focus on hardware development and/or software development in C/C++ to improve the platform performance regarding bandwidth and usability, optimize the electronics design and reduce the form factor.

You will conduct experiments in the e-lab and support the implementation of RCP in various development projects.

We have 800 of the world's best engineers developing and testing tomorrow's technical solutions in our innovation center in Liechtenstein and Kaufering.

What you need is:

Studies in the field of electrical engineering/embedded systems
Experience in C/C++ programming
Prior knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C) desirable
Prior knowledge of Matlab/Simulink desirable
Independent working style
Very good English skills
