Airbus Helicopters is looking for a

Strategic Buyer (d/f/m):

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product.

Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers
Running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks
Support the buyer during contract negotiation
Secure future business of Airbus Helicopters by contributing to the backing of our sales campaigns
Support the update the commodity sourcing policy

Desired skills and qualifications

Degree in engineering
Fluent in English and in German
Knowledge of aeronautic business might be a plus
Engineering background might be a plus
Ability to communicate effectively
Proactive, persistent and logical approach to new challenges
Agile with tools: SAP, MS Office (Especially Excel), etc.
Experience in working in/with multifunctional teams

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
