To accelerate the implementation of our data and tech strategy and support our strong growth and momentum, we are currently looking for a
Head of Data Management and Strategy (f/m/x) to join our team.

What Will Keep You Challenged?

You will lead and support our Data Management & Strategy Team to take ELEMENT to the next level of data management and data analytics.
Based on a deep understanding of our specific business model, you will enhance our data strategy which will lead to further development of our data architecture standards, our data governance as well as our master data management.
Your actions and involvement will help us to scale business significantly in the next 5 years across several business segments and thus support our organization to be successful in its next growth phase.
In close cooperation with our leadership, business (UW, Claims, Pricing, Sales, etc.), and technical teams, you will find and drive analytical solutions that are beyond today's traditional data and tech thinking.
You will further strengthen the data culture within our organization that emphasizes the importance of data management and datadriven decisions.

What Will Make You Succeed?

At least 10 years of experience with a track record of delivering successful data solutions and implementation of:
Translating Business Priorities into Data Strategies
Master and Reference Data Management
Coordinating and integrating disparate data sources
Data Governance
Data Modelling
Data Analytics
Emerging Tech/AI solution
A genuine interest to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data management and recommend new solutions and approaches to the leadership team.
Knowledge about the latest emerging trends in Big Data Analytics and AI (ML/NLP, Computer Vision, Bot Tech) and the ability to leverage this to identify strategic opportunities to enhance our organization's data management practices.
Expert fluency in SQL and a good understanding of additional scripting languages.
Familiarity with the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK, from DAMA).
Previous leadership experience with the ability to influence and resolve conflicts.
Ability to easily interact with a vast variety of stakeholders: business, compliance, developers, data managers, and project managers.
Being a true team player in a multicultural work environment, with the ability to see the big picture as well as deep dive into details when necessary.
Cando attitude with focus on delivering results in challenging environments where requirements might not be clear, and you need to work with assumptions.
Strong problemsolving skills, and a resultsoriented mindset.
You are selfmotivated, proactive, and able to work in a dynamic organization.
Excellent English communication skills in both speaking and writing.

Bonus Points For:

Familiarity with the ACORD standard.
Recent TOGAF certification.
