    Individual Accountabilities.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the German SPDR Sales Team and the overall German Client Facing Team to promote SDPR across channels while ensuring strong team collaboration.
  • Together with the rest of the German SPDR Team, help to work closely with the EMEA and local PR and Marketing team to execute on the overall distribution strategy.
  • Support the implementation of sales strategies and marketing initiatives which support new business and organic revenue growth.
  • Remain abreast of industry and product trends (includes competitor analysis) and ensure SPDR is positioned to take advantage of local market opportunities.
  • Identify and anticipate client requirements, expectations and needs.
  • Develop client sales strategies and investment cases.
  • Answer client requests and create customized analyses and client reports.

Skills to be developed.

  • Broaden knowledge about financial markets with focus on exchange traded funds through working closely with Strategists and participating in various investment calls across SSGA.
  • Develop the ability to present findings in an efficient, concise and elegant manner.
  • Develop indepth familiarity with the range of SPDR ETFs and how they can serve various clients to meet their investment objectives.
  • Understanding of investor needs and their investment decision processes.
  • Build network of contacts across SPDR and the wider State Street Global Advisors.

Key skills needed for the internship.

  • P rofessional German language skills needed.
  • Currently enrolled fulltime and working towards a Bachelor's/master's degree in business or economics.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint Skills.
  • Desire to work in a diverse, multicultural environment and for an equal opportunity employer.

  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
