Job Description Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Order Fulfillment Specialist (OFS, M/F/d) to join our Regional Project Procurement & Logistics Team in Germany/Berlin or Netherlands/Rijswijk.

The OFS is responsible for ensuring that the assigned, complex scope of work (by Supplier or Commodity) is managed in own direction and is completely delivered at the required location and at the right time as per contractual requirement.

OFS is globally not responsible for negotiation of Terms & Conditions which is in the scope of the separate Sourcing Function.

Key missions:

The OFS is responsible for:

Ensures on time placement of Purchase Orders after handover from Sourcing.
Initiates and leads Kick Off Meeting to define the coordination procedure for Expediting.
Shall ensure that the Contractor's baseline schedule is available for tracking and monitoring.
Drives progress reviews with the suppliers and ensures that all Progress reports are received from the suppliers in the correct form at the correct time.
Reviews the report and further provide his/her comments. Minutes of Meeting of the reviews as well as progress is to be shared with the project team.
Actively supports engineering & quality discipline for expediting of critical documentation. OFS shall also review and monitor critical documents submittal and approval status with Engineering and Quality function for timely release of Manufacturing clearance to meet "On time delivery" (OTD) target.
Expedites the suppliers for progress of packages allocated for his scope including coordination with internal disciplines to meet the project ontime deliveries.
Checks progress by conducting supplier visits/walk downs (also unannounced, if there is suspicion of irregularities) at the manufacturer's premises and their suppliers, on the manufacturing shop floors or in their offices.

ACTUAL comparative analysis of manufacturing planning, raw material procurement and actual manufacturing activities.

Anticipates risks and opportunities in progressing with Suppliers.
In case of deviations from specifications (nonconformances), assessing the effect thereof on achieving ontime delivery in coordination with Engineering/Supplier Quality.
Works with the suppliers to overcome delays with a concurred mitigation plan.
Shall highlight any bottlenecks reported by Supplier as "Areas of concern".
Shall provide Material Tracking Application (MTA) User Guide (upon MTA availability) to Supplier for better understanding of the tool. All MTA related queries during execution shall be addressed by OFS with support of individual function /MTA key user.
Shall issue relevant notifications to supplier in case of delays or issue request for time extension where delay is not attributable to supplier. Shall issue Contractual Letters to Suppliers with support of Sourcing/Contract Management.
Shall be responsible for Goods Reception to be entered in SAP/ERP system and ensure it reflects accurate Ontime Delivery OTD.
Shall estimate the budget for order fulfillment activities when required.
Shall provide Supplier Performance feedback to Sourcing/Commodity Leader.
Shall follow all Order Fulfillment Processes & Tools.

Performance Measurement:

Ontime complete delivery of specified material / package as per Purchase Order.
Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
Adherence to the global processes and IT Tools for expediting.
Works as per GE's the spirit & the letter Integration.

Desired Profile & Experience:

Master's degree in engineering, business administration or similar
At least 5 years of experience in equivalent roles is required.
Proven knowledge of the products being procured / monitored.
Basic knowledge of Quality.
Basic knowledge on planning and scheduling associated with the production of thermal

- power plant equipment's.

Languages: fluent in written and spoken English.
Knowledge of local language in the country of employment is considered as an advantage.
Working in SAP, using different PM tools
Proactive and problemsolving attitude
Networking and communication skills
Organizational skills including prioritization and resource deployment.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
Flexible to travel.
