In order to support Flight and Integration Test Centre, Airbus is looking for a


Test Means Project Leader (d/f/m):

Within the Flight and Integration Test Centre you will join the Test Means and Digital Platforms domain.

We are accountable for:

  • Providing the Flight and Integration Test Center with rationalized, optimized and reactive Lab & Flight Test Means solutions. This includes Test means strategy, specification, development, integration and support to operation.
  • Providing effective, easy to use data access through digital platforms.
  • Providing reliable and accurate technical data.


The test means (both Flight & Lab) are used by Test Specialists and Flight Crew to validate, integrate and eventually certify aircraft modifications.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • You will coordinate and manage Test Means Development/Upgrade Projects
  • You will define Statement of Works
  • You will prepare relevant project management structure/governance
  • You will steer project execution with corresponding metrics
  • You will manage Risks & Opportunities
  • You will contribute to overall the picture & consistency of the domain
  • You will report to external stakeholders
  • You will capture lessons learnt & recommendations
  • You will anticipate and steer changes in the projects

Desired skills and qualifications:


  • You have a strong project/program management background (PMI is an asset, experience on Agile methodology is a plus)
  • You have a background in engineering
  • You have an advanced level of English, German knowledge is a plus
  • You have good interpersonal skills with customers/suppliers at all levels
