Location: Regensburg, DE, 93055To support the journey of Vitesco Technologies to become a digital company, we in IT are supporting our business to optimize the value chain and deliver new innovative solutions to our internal organizations and production plants around the world.

As a Data Scientist at our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms on Cloud environments to solve complex business problems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze large data sets and develop data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes.

You will be part of a global development team which is responsible for AI solutions, data pipelines, cloud infrastructures as well as developing new use cases with our internal stakeholders together.

Your new responsibilities:

Responsibility within our team to further develop our global solutions in a highly motivated team of architects and experts around cloud services (AWS)
Responsibility to develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms using state of the art frameworks and technologies, and execute workloads within our cloud environment
Analyze and interpret large data sets using statistical methods and develop predictive models to identify trends and insights that drive business outcomes
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to design, implement and operate datadriven solutions
Responsibility for supporting the operation of those Cloud Services including design, development, operation, monitoring and incident resolution
Communicate complex technical concepts and analyses to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
It is in your hands to be in a leading role of an agile development, to keep timelines and quality of our solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and AWS Cloud to continually improve our data science capabilities.

Your qualifications:

Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
Longterm professional experience in Data Science, with a focus on developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms
Longterm professional experience in Data Engineering
Experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana or Power BI
Experience with Linux systems and optionally with container technologies
Experience or passionate about automation of cloud infrastructure
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and AWS Cloud especially machine learning services
Business fluent English language skills
Problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Mindful costumer orientation and strong communication skills as well as being able to drive results
Strong focus on innovation topics, high level of creativity and strong analytical thinking
