The Position:

This position is part time eligible with 80 %.

Tasks & responsibilities:

In your role as Research Scientist, you will represent the Research DMPK discipline in international drug discovery projects. For these projects, you will support developing screening strategies with focus on in vitro ADME, in vivo PK and PK/PD.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for the supervision of in vivo Pharmacokinetic studies and for planning and coordinating relevant DMPK profiling.
You will contribute to the interpretation and communication of DMPK data and strategies within multidisciplinary research teams and at stakeholder meetings.

Requirements:

Masters' degree in biology, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related scientific field with several years of experience in the relevant field, PhD is a plus
Profound understanding on DMPK with knowledge on pharmacology and PK/PD
Industrial experience in preclinical or clinical DMPK is a plus
Qualified supervisor of in vivo studies according to the German animal welfare legislation with strong experience in this field and high ethical standards
Excellent communication skills to collaborate in international multidisciplinary teams, and a strong team player to drive ideas jointly forward Fluent written and spoken English and German
