Thinkproject is a European market-leader in digitalisation tools for construction companies.

It sounds complex, but we'll explain further Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project).

Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public.


  • Our mission is to deliver digitalisation to make a safer, healthier and more sustainable AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Operations) industry. This is a really exciting time to join our company, since our founding in 2000 we have gone from strengthtostrength and have lots of exciting developments coming up soon that you could be a part of.

What your day will look like:


  • Innovative business partner for all relevant stakeholders in financial, operational and strategic matters
  • Business Partner for the functional departments (mainly Sales, Accounting, HR and M&A) and subsidiaries
  • Preparation of analyses together with the operational managers for internal performance management and identification of trends and risks
  • Active participation in the development, optimization and automation of controlling processes, methods and systems; identification and connection of different data sources for the continuous improvement of KPIs
  • Preparation and compilation of monthly reporting including KPIs, target/actual analysis, cost center accounting and identification of optimization potential on revenue and cost level
  • Support of the departments in the planning process (3year planning, budget, forecast)
  • Assumption of various special projects (e.g. support with acquisitions, business cases, financial modeling, integration of new companies, etc.)

What you need to fulfill the role:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in controlling of an internationally operating company or a management consulting firm, ideally within the software or technology industry
  • Master's degree with a focus on finance and controlling or completion of a comparable qualification
  • Ability to work independently and a high degree of selfmanagement coupled with a structured approach to work and acting on your own initiative
  • High IT affinity: very good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint. Good knowledge of SQL and experience with Power BI / LucaNet are desirable
- "Hands-On" mentality as well as enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to work in a team as well as very good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
