Job description:


Your tasks:


  • Support the project management of the inclusive insurance innovation lab, including participation in lab workshops, participant communication and external communication (impact stories, videos, social media)
  • Support A2ii's knowledge generation work
  • Research on inclusive insurance topics with a focus on regulatory and supervisory issues
  • Draft A2ii knowledge and communication products
  • Support the A2ii's monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Provide ad hoc general support to the A2ii secretariat team across the range of its activities as requested
  • Bringing great ideas to a welcoming team

Your profile:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, international development, public relations, communications or other related fields
  • Interest to work on international development with a focus on financial inclusion, insurance, as well as policy, regulation and supervision
  • Previous work experience in communications and proven drafting skills
  • Previous work experience in financial inclusion preferably insurance
  • Previous work experience in monitoring and evaluation
  • Excellent MS-Office skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, liaison and crosscultural skills
  • Fluent English, knowledge of French or Spanish

Notes:

This job is suited to a full or a part-time position.

The willingness for frequent business trips is required.

In order to fulfill the company's objectives, the readiness of employees for assignments at all GIZ locations in Germany and abroad is of high corporate interest.
