The Corporate, Operations and Governance (COG) Performance Controlling function for Siemens Gamesa is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting on the financial business and performance of COG while managing the Global planning process.

The department is also responsible for governance of the F-Price and product costing process, Enterprise Risk Management and serves as a key interface for various topics between the Business Units and COG.


As Senior Business Controller for COG Central topics, you will focus on coordinating the planning process including forecast, budget, actuals, and variance analysis for all COG related activities within the central COG depth structure that includes key units like IT, Real Estate, Operations Management, and other central departments.

You will be a key interface to Corporate Controlling, COG Management, and all units within COG to manage this process.

In addition, you will be the overall owner of the legal entity reporting process for COG.

In this role, you will be looked upon to provide financial transparency and recommendations for sound decision-making.

How to contribute to our vision

  • Coordination of the global financial planning, reporting, and controlling (including the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of all relevant KPIs in the COG Business (P&L and BS) for the COG central depth structure. Overall go to person for Controllers within your depth structure for all matters related to the month end/quarter end closing process and budget.
  • Coordination of the legal entity financial planning, reporting, and controlling (including the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of all relevant KPIs in the COG Business (P&L and BS) for the COG central depth structure including handling of SLA and Transfer Price topics
  • Set and implement standards & harmonization throughout the organization and drive a positive change process in the finance & controlling area.
  • Key contributor the continued improvement and digitalization of the COG Financial Process.

  • Motivated by change, complexity, and diversity.
  • You are a highly competent finance individual who has gained at least 3 years' experience in commercial business topics, controlling and accounting with an emphasis on financial planning and reporting.
  • You have a business or accounting degree. You are excellent in Excel and SAP. Business Intelligence Platforms and Power BI would be a plus
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
