Purpose:
Manage the Driver Trainer & Licensing Program of the contract

Positions Reporting to this Function:
N/A

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ensures all drivers training conforms to most current industry/military standards.
Issues and renews all military drivers' licenses (DA Form 5984E or approved site licensing standard).
Trains and evaluates personnel on the operation of all NTVs, GFE and military vehicles currently used by the APS2 fleet and all heavy equipment such as but not limited to cranes, heavy loaders, bull dozers, tankers, and RTCHs.
Maintains and updates all vehicle licenses.
Ensures strict compliance with all AECOM/URS Safety Policies and Procedures.
Be able to deploy with the Equipment Configuration Handoff Area (ECHA) team to other work sites.
Shift work, weekends, mandatory overtime (with proper notice given) and crosstraining may be required in order to meet daily/weekly workload requirements.
Be able to lift and carry up to 40lb in weight, be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Maintain a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are accurate.
Performs additional duties as required.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Must have a valid Driver's license to operator the majority of the APS2 equipment.
At least 5 years of experience in the same or similar position required.
3 years of training experience required.
Unit Master Driver Trainer (UMDT) Certificate from an accredited agency is preferred. Extensive experience of operating as a unit Master Driver is also preferred.
Proficient in the use of MS Office integrated software such as MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Must be able to meet and maintain all base licensing requirements.
Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
Must be able to meet and maintain all Logistic Information System (LIS) access requirements (Common Access Card).

Specialized knowledge and skills

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Knowledge of German is preferred.

2) PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Stooping, sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves51+ with the assistance of another person, touching dexterity (hand and finger), carrying, clear seeinggeneral, close vision, color perception, clear speech, driving vehicle, moving objects.
Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively up to a 48hour work week.
Must be able to endure long hours (overtime as required)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to situations where risk of electrical shock and vibration exist. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
May be required to deploy on missions on short notice at the direction of the PMO.
