What we offer you

The time has finally come and you have finished your studies or are about to do so and are looking forward to contributing your acquired knowledge and creative ideas to us During the 18month trainee program, you will gain intensive insights into Evonik's global supply chain management and get to know the work processes in an international company by working at various locations. During the program, you will be mentored by an experienced manager from Supply Chain Management. You will develop your technical and methodological skills on the job by taking on your own projects as well as off the job in seminars and training courses, such as project management, presentation training, etc. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in a project on social and/or sustainable topics. These activities are carried out together with other Evonik trainees. A 3month stay abroad is also part of the program.
The final selection of applicants will take place on May 13, 2024 as part of a assessment center, which we will conduct mainly in German. Become part of our global team from November 1, 2024 or January 1, 2025 and start your individual management career in the Evonik Group.

Responsibilities:

Get to know the different supply chain functions and tasks at

Evonik Industries:
this includes an introduction to the operational business as well as to the strategic supply chain functions and related areas, such as logistics

Get to know the relevant supply chain tools and processes on the job and take on initial responsibility for smaller projects
Expand your technical and methodological expertise together with trainees from other functions and build up a network within and outside the supply chain organizations

Requirements

Aboveaverage Master's degree (Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or Business Administration) with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement or similar
Initial practical experience (e.g. through internships)
Knowledge in the field of digitalization / automation / big data analytics
Initial intercultural experience through experience abroad
Good knowledge of German and business fluent English as well as Germanywide and international mobility
Very good communication skills and enjoy working in an international team
Outstanding analytical skills, independence and a sense of responsibility
Entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as creativity
