For our AMETEK Motec Purchasing team, we are looking for a dedicated

Lead Buyer (M/F/d) Electronics - ID 179971

What tasks await you?

Support in the development and independent implementation of material group and supplier strategies for the electronics product group
Carrying out market and supplier analyses in the national and international environment
Supplier and procurement management independent support of a defined supplier base including the complete order processing and the solution of possible problems in the supply chain
Analysis, evaluation, and implementation of savings potentials as well as the execution of price and contract negotiations
Representation of the purchasing department in various development projects
Quality assurance in the context of supplier evaluation as well as in the handling of complaints in cooperation with the quality assurance department

Your skills:

Completed studies in the technical or commercial field or commercial training with appropriate experience in purchasing
Knowledge in the procurement of electrotechnical or other technical products
Experience in project purchasing
Good communication skills and negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills combined with entrepreneurial vision
Fluent negotiation skills in German and English
Confident handling of MS Office and an enterprise resource planning system (e.g. NAVISION) desirable
