The Director, Marketing and Communications is dedicated to supporting the promotion and growth of the respective overseas division and reports directly to the division's Associate Vice President and Deputy Director.

The Marketing Director supervises an agile team of staff within the Marketing Department.

The Director is responsible for the strategic oversight and delivery of all digital and social media advertising such as the development and execution of key integrated marketing, web, social media, digital, and communication initiatives that effectively reach the University's target audiences and advance recruitment and retention efforts of the University.

Championing the University's global brand identity, the Director works closely with leadership in all departments, with the CRM Coordinators in the field, as well as collaborates with the University's other divisions, to incorporate University brand standards in daily operations, especially in areas that directly influence potential and current students, while at the same time providing maximum flexibility and advising to the field sites so that they can tailor their marketing to the local conditions.

Ensuring high quality standards, the Director is responsible for the planning and production of print, social, digital and web deliverables to meet marketing contractual requirements for the U.S.

military.

A primary focus of the department is to develop a wide array of campaigns, tools and resources to enhance enrollment growth; the Director leads the conceptual development and execution of these resources.

Work is on-site at the overseas headquarters building. Occasional TDY travel to education centers might be required.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Responsible for the development and execution of key integrated marketing, web, social media, digital, and communication initiatives
  • Effectively reach target audiences and advance recruitment and retention efforts
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of campaigns, tools, and resources to enhance enrollment growth
  • Responsible for managing budgetary expenditures related to identified marketing needs, including the development/production of swag giveaway items
  • Develop and implement the brand strategy for the University division, working closely with key stakeholders
  • Develop and coordinate team activities that result in communication and marketing assets in print, digital, web, and social media environments, providing ongoing project management and resource prioritization
  • Supervise the creation and production of the division's publications, print media, and video productions as appropriate, maintaining a strong global brand and identity standards
  • Develop and supervise the execution of communication initiatives using the customer relation management (CRM) system, establishing and implementing CRMrelated materials. Coordinate with Assistant Vice President, Enrollment Operations, CRM Program Manager and field CRM Coordinators and Site Leads as appropriate, providing marketingrelated training as needed
  • Collaborate with key leadership to develop marketing strategies and campaigns specific to the University's division of operation that will resonate with the military audience
  • Responsible for division website redesign and highlevel content management, working with the division webmaster as appropriate.
  • Develop marketing source codes for campaigns using the University's CRM platforms and website infrastructure; source codes and provide a reference to marketing campaign activities that aid in tracking campaign effectiveness and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Negotiate bids and supervise the execution of projects with outside vendors and printers, as well as any sponsorship opportunities, in addition to other approved projects and activities
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to assess needs, serving as the primary liaison with the other University regions on marketing, digital, or communicationrelated projects
  • Collaborate with field teams to support the execution of local marketing and outreach activities
  • Support a customer service/students first approach within the division's community
  • Oversee the distribution of all press releases and advertising generated from the division's headquarters, as well as approved media activity. Supervise marketing, public relations personnel, and activities related to the division's commencement ceremony and other events
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues in all University divisions
  • Other jobrelated duties as assigned

OTHER SPECIFIC DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:


  • Coordinate and manage all webinars on student recruitment
