Services Architect Next Generation Services (d/f/m):

A unique opportunity is offered in the Chief Services FCAS department, located in Manching, is supporting the definition of future weapon system as part of the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) with a focus on the definition of Next Generation Services ensuring an effective and efficient support of those systems.

As
"Services Architect Next Generation Services (d/f/m)" you'll be concentrating on the elaboration of a common and consistent ILS baseline for new platforms with a strong focus on the future operations and In-Service needs.

Therefore, you'll support all FCAS related contracts and activities from an ILS perspective by supporting the definition of the related ILS products with a focus on (but not limited to) the ILS Plan, Support Concept and ILS Business Rules taking into account the Services' strategy for FCAS.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Alignment of all ILS management tasks and deliverables with internal and external stakeholder for dedicated contracts covering the development, production as well as initial In-Service Phase
Support of all activities related to the contractual obligations of FCAS Services for dedicated contracts
Elaboration of future orientated ILS/ISS solutions (definition of support strategies and their translation into concepts, derivation of system requirements and technology needs)
Exchange with ILS Experts and Specialists of Airbus Defence and Space and (inter)national partners ensuring their involvement and consultation in order to ensure an optimal ILS baseline for future systems
Participation to and preparation of internal and external meetings
Prepare and release ILS related deliverables during the Programme execution phase
Support and ensure the identification and definition of ILS related PMT tasks

Desired skills and qualifications

Academic degree in engineering or equivalent
At least 8 years of experience in (military) aviation business
Profound knowledge of ISS processes and operational challenges that can be proven by dedicated projects and responsibilities in former positions (real life experiences in a military aviation environment is a must)
Military background (at leadership level) is a plus
Reference with regard to former ISS positions & responsibilities is a plus
Experience as Lean Manager is a plus (proven by dedicated responsibilities in former positions)
Innovative and disruptive mindset and vision to propose and implement agile solutions and challenge the traditional ways of working
Strong communication skills complemented with the talent to express complex interdependencies in an easy and clear way
A team player with international openness
Flexibility and engagement (work in evolving and changing environment)
German and English at negotiation level

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
