In order to support the department Office Operations, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Working Student within R&T Data Analytics (d/f/m):

Location: Hamburg
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 12 months

Definition working student:

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies.

This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises.

A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your location:

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Collect, clean and process data from different systems, to analyze, visualize and interpret them in order to provide specific deliverables (e.g. Anomaly detection,Performance Indicators, Dashboards, Performance Analysis, BusinessRecommendations, Reports, etc...)
Support the creation or processes to communicate data analysis findings in a clear,concise and useful manner.
Develop and improve methodology, tests scripts and query sets for recurring tests.
Support the elaboration of a plan to target sustainable data analytics and reporting solutions.

Desired skills and qualifications:

You are an enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Engineering, Informatics; Business Administration, or similar field of study.
You are proficient in Excel (macros, pivot tables)
You are proficient in Data Analytics tools and platforms: Python: Pandas, Jupyternotebook, Pyspark, SQL, QlikSense, Datastudio (Javascript)
English fluency is a must, proficiency in German, French, Spanish or any other language is a plus.
You have gained first experiences in coding & data analytics and you are interested in further developing these skills in an operational environment.
You are a team player and are able to work independently
