Your area of work:


In your new position as a financial management specialist for Infrastructure (on-prem) and Cloud you will act as a business partner supporting our CTO organization.

Primarily you will support the senior management in budget and capacity planning, while focusing on Cloud and Infrastructure (on prem) services.

The Chief of Staff/ IT strategy division supports the leadership team in financial steering across the CIO/COO organization.

It is the interface between the Division management, the various business areas within the Division, the corporate central functions, and the various market business segments of Deutsche Börse Group.

Being the main interface to the central functions of the group, the Chief of Staff/ IT strategy division is responsible for effective and efficient interface management and the development of well-structured solutions as decision proposals.

Your responsibilities:


  • Run financial oversight for our CTOs Cloud and infrastructure area
  • Execute and further optimize financial planning activities (intra and multiyear)
  • Synchronize financial steering with CTOs service catalogue
  • Development of IT related reporting methodology and related KPIs
  • Execution of IT financial benchmarking processes
  • Align figures with relevant Line of responsibility
  • Support decision making processes of Line-Management team
  • Drive annual budget planning process
  • Calculate and validate allocation keys and service pricing
  • Support the evolution of the service catalogue to reflect likewise new technological delivery models
  • Act as a business partner and enable proper decision making

Your profile:


  • Academic degree in economics, finance or similar degree in a relevant field of expertise
  • Strong analytical skills, structured working method and safe handling of financial topics
  • Independent way of working and a high sense of responsibility in task delivery and result orientation
  • Customeroriented and solutiondriven working methods
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English in speaking and writing
- as well as excellent teamwork skills
