It sounds complex, but we'll explain further Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project).

What your day will look like:
Assist in establishing a digitalized legal and data protection department.
Research, evaluate, and recommend tools and AI strategies for enhancing legal and data protection services.
Implement defined processes and tools to improve contract management, data protection, and corporate governance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and update GDPR compliance across the organization.
Establish a data protection management system with a focus on automation and AI utilization.
Develop and implement data protection documents, templates, and policies.
Manage various aspects including data processing agreements, records of processing activities, and privacy policies.
Support IT projects with legal implications and participate in M&A activities.
Develop and conduct training sessions/playbooks for legal and data protection operations.
Ensure integration with defined processes and templates to promote selfsufficiency within the internal client base.

What you need to fulfill the role:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Data Protection, or related field; additional certifications in data protection (e.g., CIPP/E) preferred.
Proven experience in legal operations, contract management, and data protection compliance.
Strong understanding of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
Proficiency in utilizing technology, AI, and automation tools to optimize legal and data protection processes.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Fluent German and English language skills
