About the Role


The SW Architect role is enabling the SW development teams to implement new Automotive Services in Connectivity and Telematics, on an electrical platform for a German OEM.

What You Will Do

  • Understand the customer requirements and business requirements, help the customer to create and refine requirements
  • Design the High Level and Component Architecture, meeting all the requirements and in alignment with other system components.
  • Evaluate and document the Module related subsystem architecture and present it to customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Create SW Component requirements and manage the creation of related SW architecture.
  • Good understanding of objectoriented code concepts (preferably in JAVA)
  • Design the SW components derived from the HLD.
  • Guide the development team to achieve a complete functionality of the component.
  • Collaborate with Multi-Site and Multi-Location teams.
What You Need

  • Master in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • More than 8 years of experience in SW development including at least 3 years of experience in SW architecture in infotainment systems or telematics / connectivity.
  • Handson experience in the creation of SW architecture of car2backend communication and all invehicle communications, including MQTT, SOME-IP, Ethernet, TCP/IP, CAN
  • Ability to design SW architecture, SW partitioning and presentation of the advantages and disadvantages of various solutions
  • Handson experience with Atlassian Jira, IBM Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect
  • Fluent English language skill is mandatory.
