(Senior) Legal Counsel (M/F/x):

The position:

The function reports to the Head of Legal Europe and provides legal advice to all functions and hierarchy levels of Daiichi Sankyo Europe (DSE) and its affiliates.

As a member of a team of highly qualified legal all-rounders, the function is able to provide profound advice concerning different areas of law, with a focus on competition and antitrust law.

Roles and responsibilities:

Providing legal advice to all business areas, to senior managment as well as to our European affiliates
Drafting, negotiating and reviewing of contracts from different divisions of the company
Developing and conducting of legal trainings (incl. eLearnings) for managment and employees
Working in project teams as a trusted legal advisor
Supporting the digitalization and other enhancement processes in the Legal department

Personal skills and professional experience:

Qualified lawyer with profound knowledge in German law
Several years of experience in an international company or law firm, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector and exposure to competition and antitrust legal matters
Fluent in German and English, other European languages would be an advantage
Strong communication skills paired with confidence to represent the company in order to be able to explain complex legal topics customized for each stakeholder group
Affinity to LegalTech
