PLAION's Creative Services Team is looking for a dedicated

Senior Art Director (f/m/d) with true passion for games, brands, design and art direction to support and drive our global marketing campaigns and to supervise the internal design team. If you are working with a result-oriented focus, have a good sense for art direction, concepts, high-quality design, outstanding ideas and an almost sixth-sense for trends; then you could be the one we are looking for You will supervise and form the designer team in close collaboration with the Director of Creative Services and work closely day to day with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams company-wide to ensure a smooth process for your assigned products. As contact for multiple teams - both internally and externally - you will ensure games have the visual quality, along with the unique look and feel, they need to be successful.


Your Tasks:


  • Design the visual appearance of global campaigns
  • Mentor, supervise and inspire the design team in close collaboration with the Director of Creative Services, while also working on your own projects and allocated games
  • Direct, design and develop artistic ideas across a range of mediums and platforms
  • Advertising campaign idea generation and development of brand guidelines
  • Oversight, project monitoring and management of workflow for the artistic elements of allocated game projects from beginning to end as well as project from your team
  • Support the Director Creative Services on group projects and the strategic positioning of the design team
  • Design, plan and create of all kinds of online and offline assets for your own projects
  • Lead the development of social media assets and digital promotion ideas
  • Work on multiple concurrent projects with teams around the world
  • Work closely with marketing and brand management to develop the best look and feel for our game campaigns.

Your Profile:


  • Have 10+ years of agency/inhouse or games industry experience in design or marketing
  • 4+ years in a team leading role
  • The ability to generate original ideas and have strategic, creative and art direction experience
  • A portfolio of outstanding creative work
  • Great experience in design for both online and offline assets; ideally gamerelated
  • Fine sense of colour and composition; illustration and digital painting skills an advantage
  • Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,...)
  • Ability to manage timelines, define clear goals and deadlines and supervise several projects
  • Good written and spoken English. German language would be an advantage
  • Enthusiasm for the games industry and gaming
  • Problemsolving ability
  • A strong understanding of how art direction, design and conceptual ideas can be used to tell a brand story
