Tasks

The "Battery Technology Center Stuttgart" team is responsible for the research and development of all components of the lithium-ion cell, the heart of our batteries.

In our cell prototype laboratory in Esslingen, we produce electrodes ourselves on a laboratory scale. These are installed and tested in small-format cells. In addition to established battery materials, we also investigate future technologies in our laboratory - including new cathode materials.

These are the main, but not the only challenges for you:

Working in a chemistry/battery lab for cell preparation
Testing the electrochemical cells in different modifications
Development of the cathode electrodes
Modeling of cathode to find the optimized formulation and prediction of the performance
Documentation, presentation, and publication of the results
Collaboration with internal/external partners
