European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group.

We are both a maintenance company and a cargo airline and are currently responsible for the aircraft maintenance of 32 Airbus A300-600, 5 Airbus A330, 32 Boeing B757, 26 Boeing B767 and 24 Boeing B777 at our locations in Leipzig, Frankfurt, Cologne and throughout Europe.

YOUR TASKS:

The role of the Work Preparation Coordinator is preparing all planned work on the aircraft of the DHL fleet and contracted operators at the Leipzig site.

It ensures the accuracy and completeness of the required work documents. The Work Preparation Coordinator also orders the necessary tools and spare parts for the planned work in Leipzig.

Checking the work packages / work orders for the aircraft undergoing maintenance at EATL.
Processing the work packages / work orders and checking the necessary documentation such as AMM, IPC, SRM, WDM, etc. for current revisions.
Checking for technical and content related completeness of the check packages.
Acting as a contact person for the respective operators and production managers at EAT.
Ensuring availability of spare parts and tools for the planned work orders.
Planning and organizing personnel/qualifications, ground times, hangar space, special equipment, and necessary spare parts for the corresponding work packages.
Coordination and collaboration with other involved departments (including OMT, TOC, Stores, Engineering) to ensure timely execution of work packages and individual maintenance events.
Maintaining and continuously improving work and process flows.
Coordinating outsourcing to external providers (NDT inspections, aircraft cleaning).
Organizing and coordinating all checks including possible additional packages for modifications/SBs and ADs.
Monitoring smooth execution of commissioned work packages.
Participating in crossfunctional projects.

YOUR TASKS:

University degree and several years of relevant professional experience or many years of relevant professional experience as an aircraft mechanic, avionics technician, maintenance engineer, engine technician Type rating according to EASA Part 66 B1/B2 or comparable qualification on A300600, B757, B767 or B77
Very good English and German language skills
Very good knowledge of manufacturer documentation (IPC, AMM, SRM WDM, etc.)
Willingness to work in shifts Ability to work under stressful situations
Ability to prioritize parallel tasks
Ability to work in a team
