In the Legal function, we bundle the specialist expertise and tasks from the Group Legal, Group Compliance, Group Intellectual Property Management and Group Audit departments in the Evonik Group worldwide.


In addition to providing global advice on all corporate, commercial and public law issues (Group Legal) and supporting the operating units in all IP-relevant issues from idea generation to the market launch of new products and solutions (Group IP Management), these also include ensuring general compliance requirements throughout the Group (Group Compliance) as well as independent auditing and objective advice on the continuous improvement of management and business processes (Group Audit).

Have you completed your 1st and 2nd state law exams or are you about to do so? Would you like to put your specialist knowledge and creative ideas into practice and gain your first professional experience in the legal department of an international group without committing to a specific specialization or thematic focus right from the start?


Responsibilities:


  • Get to know the various tasks and activities of our Legal function as well as the working methods and processes of a legal department in an international group
  • Work in national and international expert and project teams
  • By working in different departments and at different locations, you will build up your own network within and outside the Legal function

Requirements:


  • You have completed your 1st and 2nd state law exams with aboveaverage results
  • You are interested in business issues and taking on responsibility
  • You have already gained initial practical experience (e.g. through internships or legal clerkships) in an international commercial law firm or an industrial company
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English, ideally developed through a stay abroad; mobility
  • Your strengths include a solutionoriented way of working, a sense of responsibility and commitment as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
