Job Summary
We are looking for an Electronic Technician for our Microbial Solutions site in Kaarst.

This position will also have the following responsibilities:

Perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs of electronics to component level.
Mechanically assemble and disassemble new and existing equipment.
Perform and operate test equipment and solder devices as necessary
Create, develop and continuously improve SOP's related to the Instrument Service Depot and consult with QA when necessary.
Be able to analyse situations and use own judgment when solving mechanical problems independently.
Coordinates scheduling and assists department personnel in the absence of another Technician.
Responsible for mastery of all SOPs in area of responsibility.
Responsible for documentation in accordance with company policies, cGMP and FDA.
Assist Technical Services by loading software, calibrating new equipment and ensuring new equipment is properly packaged.
Perform and assess data entry into software program to track machine repairs.
Interpret past repairs on PTS and MCS machines along with our Biotek, PRS3 and Celsis range of equipment and any new equipment that come on stream.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
Minimum qualifications related to the Instrument Support Specialist role include:

Degree or Diploma in an Engineering associated course or equivalent experience.
13 years of relevant experience in an electronics environment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
Must be able to understand and read schematics.
Experience with MS Office Suite. Experience in data entry preferred.
Attention to detail in all aspects of the job is essential.
