The final thesis should be a comprehensive analysis of the safety concepts and a comparison between Automotive, Industrial and Medical Functional Safety.

The specific tasks:

Support a student during his PhD thesis on similar topic
Compare with Automotive and Industrial safety concepts with deep technical understanding (cooperating with all NXP Product Line)
Draw conclusions about key elements to succeed in supporting this market with NXP knowhow (cooperating with Medical and Healthcare Vertical team)

Your profile:

Studies in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a comparable degree program
Experience in system level implementation/design
Experience regulatory and safety is a plus
Willingness to learn and independent approach to work
Fluent English and the ability to work within international teams are required
