- Acquisition of new customers and development of new business with international clients in Benelux and France in line with annual and quarterly targets
- Identification and acquisition of potential new customers from various industries to maximize the capacity utilization of our trains
- Continuous expansion and support of existing customers
- Development of suitable solution concepts according to customer needs and creation of competitive offers including price calculation and conducting price negotiations
- Contract conclusion in close coordination with the management
- Cross-functional coordination of projects and tenders
- Preparation of monthly reports for the relevant sales areas
- Transferring customer requirements into the company and driving force for product developments and adjustments
- International representation of the company
- Completed degree in economics with a focus on logistics and/or sales, or completed vocational training with relevant work experience in sales, preferably in transport & logistics
- Excellent communication skills, both precise and persuasive
- Demonstrable negotiation skills and the ability to conduct conversations effectively
- Strong customer orientation, open and communicative personality, as well as a good network in the public sector
- Enthusiasm and commitment to intermodal transport concepts
- Very good French or Dutch language skills as well as English proficiency; basic knowledge of German is advantageous
- Willingness to undertake regular business trips in the Benelux area, up to 50%
