Intel is searching for an experienced employment lawyer to join its European labor and employment law team.

The role reports to the European Senior Attorney/ Regional Employment Law Manager and works closely with attorneys, investigators and legal colleagues within the region and US.

You will be responsible for providing employment law advice to HR professionals and management throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The role can be based in Germany, UK, Ireland or Poland.


Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing practical and strategic legal advice on all issues relating to employment law, including entering and ending of employment relationships, disciplinary measures and restructurings, incl. terminations, compensation & benefit programs, employment policies and procedures, diversity and inclusion
  • Drafting and negotiating employment and related agreements
  • Actively managing employment litigation in the region by partnering with external litigation counsel
  • Providing legal advice and support relating to Works Councils engagement in various countries across Europe
  • Providing training to Human Resources professionals and business managers on relevant employment law issues
  • Ensuring compliance with new laws and best practices throughout the region
  • Travel within the region and to US as needed

Qualifications:


You should possess a primary degree in Law and be a member of the Bar in an EU country or the UK with a specialty in employment law.


Additional qualifications expected:


  • Broad international employment law experience gained in legal practice or inhouse with a multinational company (preferably based in the US), preferably in the technology sector
  • Specialist knowledge of employment law and regulations throughout Europe and a sense of humor
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and successfully collaborate with other legal and business colleagues in fast paced geographically dispersed organization
  • Some experience of working with Works Councils
  • Proven track record of successful litigation management and dispute resolution
  • Fluent English. Fluent German is not a requirement but useful
  • Ability to provide practical and creative solutions to employment issues while minimizing legal risk
  • Proactive and focused team player with the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
