_ The role is based in Kelberg with the flexibility to work remotely up to 50%_.**
About your Role


Embedded in the agile, cross-functional System Team and along with multiple functions in the company you align the cost-over-lifetime improvements of our products along the end-to-end value stream.


  • In close collaboration with the agile development teams you define and lead our designtovalue approach.
  • You foster early supplier involvement (e.g. by moderating ideation workshops with suppliers to improve our value to cost ratio)
  • You support the DesignforX approach by proactively discovering new manufacturing technologies, processes and materials
  • Together with the local and global procurement functions you foster proactive value engineering (VE):
  • By moderating complex make-buy, modularization and standardization decisions to identify cost improvement opportunities.
  • By building cost models and developing KPIs, performing DesignforX, totalcostofownership and builtincost analysis.
  • You are part of the company's strategic procurement communityofpractice and ensure the timely onboarding of and seamlessly transfer to serial suppliers when needed.
  • You help develop the company's product lifecycle management and establish VAVE processes and structures.

About you

  • STEM, Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Good communication and networking skills
  • Initial experience and knowledge in VAVE, advanced procurement, e.g. in the automotive or aerospace industry
  • T-Shaped skilled: good understanding of Advanced Manufacturing combined with varied levels of expertise in the bigger advanced Operations toolbox (Procurement, Quality)
  • Founded technical knowledge and ability to read drawings would be an advantage
  • Agile mindset
  • Creative thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Willing to learn and grow
