For a friendly, easy-going family living in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, we are looking for a
speaker of English or German (functional German a must) to look after their children (1yo, 3yo) from Monday to Thursday , and on one longer evening per week/weekend (to be scheduled with notice, according to family need and Nanny availability), with some flexibility.

The Nanny will be tasked with picking up the children from Kita, stopping at the playground on the way back, taking care of the evening routine, supporting standard dinner and bedtime procedures (on the longer evening).

You will spend hours with the children at home or outdoors, depending on the weather. Duties will include prepping/serving the children's meal and start night time routines.

There is some flexibility with the schedule to fit the needs of the Nanny but would like for it to be a fixed long term schedule.

Duties include providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children, being proactive in researching and organizing stimulating, age-appropriate activities, preparing healthy meals and providing a nurturing environment to further their development.

A solid daily routine has been established for the children, the home's atmosphere is calm and the family hope to find an experienced, long term carer to support them in maintaining their systems.

The family is playful, have an open communication style and like to spend time outdoors, at the same time they are firm with routines and respectful behaviour.

The family is happy to also contribute towards a travel card.

This is a long-term position from
20 hours per week.

Compensation on offer starts at
1700 EUR gross per month or 20Eur/h for a freelance Nanny depending on your experience and qualifications (negotiable, together with extra holiday allowance and other perks).
